The vehicle is being exhibited at the Nürburgring test center and as most of you know it is Aston Martin's answer to recent track-only beasts such as the Ferrari FXX K and the McLaren P1 GTR. However, unlike those two, the Vulcan is an old-fashioned racer without any sort of electric assistance as it packs a mighty V12 7.0-liter naturally aspirated engine unleashing in excess of 800 bhp (596 kW).

An Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox has the difficult task of channeling all that output to the road while the stopping power is provided by Brembo's carbon fiber brakes featuring F1-derived technology and teamed up with six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers in the back.

As you would expect from such a beast, the Vulcan has some amazing performances as it needs less than 3 seconds to conquer the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint and will top out at more than 200 mph (322 km/h).

Aston Martin's "most intense and exhilarating creation to date" will be limited to 24 units, with each car carrying an exorbitant price tag of £1.8 million (about $2.8 million / €2.5 million).
