Vauxhall has introduced their new VX360° service which allows owners to receive a video from technicians that shows and explains any urgent or recommended work while their car is in for repairs.

Billed as a "complimentary extra" at participating retailers, the service will allow customers to receive a short video clip - via smartphone or computer - that explains the situation and the recommended course of action.  Vauxhall says this will enable owners to authorize work with "complete transparency and confidence."

According to Vauxhall Aftersales Business Operations Manager, Alex Shields, “The innovative VX360° system can be requested free as part of a regular service at participating retailers and enables owners to view exactly what the technician sees, thanks to filmed footage of the customer’s vehicle whilst it is in a workshop."  He went on to say “This places customers in a unique position, where they can view the footage and make the choice about whether they wish to proceed and let workshop teams know immediately, saving both time and hassle.”
