The 2017 Q1 has been spied for the first time.

Caught undergoing testing in Europe, the entry-level crossover features a curvaceous body with a prominent grille that is flanked by sweptback headlights.  Moving further back, we can see door-mounted mirrors, upward sweeping beltline and a sloping roofline.  The crossover also has a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a steeply raked rear windscreen.

Audi hasn't made much to say about the Q1 lately but the model will be built in Ingolstadt, Germany and is expected to ride on a shortened version of the MQB platform.  Engine options remain unconfirmed but we can expect an assortment of familiar four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
