This year's most valuable player in the MLB All-Star Game drove home with a brand new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Midnight Edition.
Mike Trout managed to score two home runs during American League's 6-3 victory, so he was selected as the game's MVP and had to choose between a sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro Convertible and this sinister black Silverado special edition. He went for the latter which originally debuted at the Chicago Auto Show earlier this year with an all-black look and body-colored bumpers.
It's based on the Z71 and is offered in 1500 double cab or crew cab versions, but only 1,500 units are being built for the 2015MY. All of them come generously equipped with an off-road suspension, locking rear differential, trailering package and the Hill Descent Control system. The special edition also gets rear parking sensors and adjustable heated mirrors while the black 18-inch alloys are paired with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires.
