Following last month's fully revealing spy shot, Mazda has officially unveiled the facelifted BT-50 truck.

There's really not that much to talk about as the cosmetic revisions have been kept down to a minimum since we only notice the darker graphics for the headlights and a slightly revised grille in line with Mazda's recent products. An image with the rear end is not available at the moment of writing, but we can tell you the taillights have received a darkened cherry red finish.

As far as the interior cabin is concerned, we only know it has been refined "to give a higher-quality feel" and Mazda has also added a rearview camera to the list of available goodies.

In the engine department we expect to find the 4-cylinder 2.2-liter turbodiesel rated at 160 PS (118 kW) and 385 Nm (284 lb-ft) along with a beefier 3.2-liter pushing out 200 PS (147 kW) and 470 Nm (347 lb-ft) as in the recently facelifted Ford Ranger upon which is based.

Billed as an "active lifestyle vehicle", the lightly revised Mazda BT-50 has already entered production in Thailand which together with Australia will be the first two countries to get the pickup truck before availability will expanded to other markets.
