Renault has released another teaser for its upcoming TALISMAN, this time showing the multi-function rotary control.

Unsurprisingly, the layout of the rotary control seems virtually the same as on the new Espace and will allow drivers to access the R-Link 2 infotainment system. The size of the touchscreen display is not known at this point, but we do know the one in the Espace measures 8.7 inches.

Scheduled to come out on July 6, the all-new Renault TALISMAN will serve as a successor for both the slow-selling Laguna and Latitude. Some of the goodies that we should expect to see include full LED headlights, semi-autonomous parking system and four-wheel steering – all wrapped around in a design substantially sleeker compared to the two outgoing models.

The sedan will be the first to see the light of production and will be followed shortly by a more practical wagon. Both of them will be assembled at the Georges Besse plant in Douai, France and will have to face some stiff competition coming from cars such as the Skoda Superb, Ford Mondeo and Volkswagen Passat.
