An unknown prototype of a Qoros SUV has been caught on camera testing in southern Europe.

The vehicle seems to ride a little bit higher than the 3 City SUV and also appears slightly larger while the wheelbase could be longer so this might be some sort of test mule for a bigger model positioned above the Qoros 3-based City SUV. Upon closer inspection we noticed the graphics of the taillights are considerably different while the clusters for the fog and reverse lights seem to be narrower.

Power likely comes from a four-cylinder, 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 154 bhp (115 kW) that works with either a 6-speed manual or a dual-clutch gearbox.

It comes somewhat as a surprise that Qoros is testing this new SUV in Europe, because recently company officials said they will focus on the domestic market after selling just 51 cars last year on the old continent. As a consequence of these abysmal sales, Qoros says they will reconsider the European market a few years from now, without entirely giving up on the market until then.
