German tuner Wimmer has prepared a significant power package for the KTM X-BOW GT.

Introduced more than two years ago, the X-BOW GT is a softer version of the R but not this particular car as Wimmer has managed to make it more powerful even than the R model which packs a 300 PS & 400 Nm punch. They made some software tweaks along with "miscellaneous modifications" to the Audi-sourced 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and jacked up its power to a massive 485 PS (357 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft).

Thanks to the additional oomph, it will run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in just 2.97 seconds which makes it around 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard X-BOW GT. Wimmer also mentions it needs only 9.9 seconds to reach 124 mph (200 km/h) from a standstill while the top speed has not been specified.

As the name of the tuning project implies, this X-BOW GT belongs to a customer from Dubai who ordered a shiny gold wrap on his track toy.
