Nissan North America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing has revealed plans to unveil a facelifted Sentra this fall.

Speaking to Automotive News, Fred Diaz said the model will be "incredibly freshened" so much so that it's "almost all new." Diaz declined to elaborate but it sounds like we can expect more than the usual mid-cycle styling tweaks.

There's no word on performance changes but the current model has a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 130 bhp (97 kW) and 128 lb-ft (173 Nm) of torque.  It can be connected to either a six-speed manual or an optional Xtronic continuously variable transmission.
