Another spy video has emerged with the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class (C205) testing in Germany.

The Daimler-owned marque is just about ready to add a third body style to the current C-Class family as the sleeker coupe is bound to show up in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show so we will likely have images and details by August. A previous batch of spy pics revealed most of the car's exterior design which obviously echo the sedan but with a more sloped roofline enabling a more dynamic appearance to the highly anticipated compact premium coupe.

It will utilize the MRA platform as the sedan and wagon so it's going to have the same array of turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines. A punchier C450 AMG Sport version is set to join the range with a twin-turbo V6 3.0-liter delivering 367 PS (270 kW) and 517 Nm (382 lb-ft) while the cream of the crop will obviously be the already spied Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe set to receive a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine offered in two states of tune: 476 PS (350 kW) & 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) in the base model and 510 PS (375 kW) & 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) in the S version.

The regular coupe (including AMG Sport model) will be the first to show up this fall so expect the range-topping AMG derivative to be unveiled early 2016, possibly in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
