Subaru has been relatively tight-lipped about their Tribeca successor but a recent owner survey has revealed the company is considering at least six different names for their seven-seat crossover.

According to the survey, Subaru is considering the Ascent, Centauri, Columbia, Cypress and Meridian monikers.  The company declined to comment on the survey when asked by Jalopnik and it remains unclear whether any of these names will actually be used on a production model.

Regardless of what the crossover is called, Fuji Heavy Industries' senior vice president of global marketing recently confirmed it will be more accommodating than the Tribeca and be designed to appeal to American consumers.
