Mercedes-Benz won't retire the G-Class in the near future as they have just revealed a facelift so the model is here to stay for a while. Tuners have always found the off-roader fascinating which is why over the years there have been numerous custom kits tailored to the legendary G-Wagen. Case in point, IMSA is now introducing an upgrade package for the G63 AMG which has gained a new body kit comprising 16 components.

At an additional cost, some of the bits and pieces can be had in carbon fiber, such as the front grille, side mirror caps, front air inlets, hood and other parts as well. The more prominent wheel arches now house 22-inch alloys shod in 305/40 R22 tires while a set of the tuner's custom shock absorbers is also part of the package.

Stepping inside the cabin, the G63 AMG has received a custom two-tone leather upholstery and a rear center console between the two individual seats from where the passengers can control the comfort functions.

More importantly, the engineers from IMSA have tweaked the V8 5.5-liter bi-turbo engine, managing to bump output to 730 PS (537 kW) and a massive torque of 1,035 Nm (764 lb-ft). This was possible by install an entirely new exhaust system with downpipes, sports cats, charge air cooler and pipes.
