A rather interesting Mercedes-Benz C-Class test mule has been spotted on public roads in Germany.

Noticeable features on this partially camouflaged C-Class (W205) are the much wider wheel arches and a rear spoiler lip while the wheels appear to be on the small side. The front and rear overhangs appear to be slightly shorter and the wheelbase could be a little bit longer compared to the standard car.

The exact identity of the vehicle is not known at this point, but chances are it's not the next generation E-Class as the model has already been caught on camera wearing the production body. One could speculate this is an early test mule of a CLC four-door coupe slotted between the CLA and CLS, but this is just an assumption.
