The 2016 Toyota Hilux has been photographed inside and out once again
The 2016 Toyota Hilux has been photographed inside and out once again.
Following several leaks and spy photos, the next generation of the pickup returned in a massive photo gallery, revealing all the details about the exterior and the interior. These images, posted on Hilux Revo Thailand’s Facebook page, prove the machine will feature an evolutionary design with bigger headlights, chrome radiator grille and muscular side profile.
Inside the cabin we noticed a redesigned center console with a tablet style infotainment system, as well as a start-stop button, automatic climate control and air vents for the rear seats.
As we have already informed you a couple of times, the 2016 Hilux will be offered with two new diesel engines, replacing the ones of the current model. These are a 2.4-liter turbodiesel, generating 150 PS (111 kW) and 167 PS (123 kW), along with a beefier 2.8-liter unit rated at 177 PS (130 kW). Both engines will be mated to an automatic gearbox or a manual transmission.
The official debut of the new Hilux is scheduled for May 21, so stay tuned for the full details.
