United States vice-president Joe Biden told Yale graduating students that Corvettes are better than Porsches.

The declaration was made last Sunday during the Commencement Day event organized at Yale where among other statements Biden went a little bit off-topic and said "Corvettes are better than Porsches" as "they're quicker and they corner as well."

Joe Biden is known to be a huge Corvette fan and actually owns a 1967 C2 Stingray rebuilt by his own sons but the U.S. Secret Service doesn't allow him to drive it. When the Corvette Z06 was unveiled at last year's North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Biden described it as being the "best buy in America" and that he wants to drive it.
