Dodge has released a small photo gallery with the brand new 2016 Viper ACR programmed to enter production in Q3 2015.

The venomous snake from America is a 645 bhp beast with a V10 8.4-liter naturally aspirated engine generating 600 lb-ft (812 Nm) in a menacing body that has a 50:50 weight distribution. It's characterized by Dodge as being the "fastest street-legal Viper track car ever" and comes equipped with a 1876mm wide adjustable rear wing as well as a rear diffuser made from carbon fiber. Purists will be happy to hear the V10 engine is coupled exclusively to a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual gearbox.

The hand-built Viper ACR comes equipped with Brembo 390mm front & 360mm rear two-piece rotors teamed up with six-piston front & four-piston rear calipers. Dodge's engineers have installed 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels shod in Kumho Ecsta V720 high-performance tires which are tailored to this model.

Pricing details have not been released, but needless to say it will be significantly more expensive than the GTS version which begins at $110,995.
