Ford has released a teaser video with the upcoming 2016 Mustang GT which will bring back the hood turn signals.

It was 1967 when the Blue Oval company offered the Mustang with an optional hood known as "Deluxe Hood" that had two heat extraction vents facing the driver and hosting two amber lights linked to the turn indicators. These will make a comeback on the 2016 Mustang GT and chances are will be installed on the California Special teased earlier this week.

It's probably too early in the model's life to expect power upgrades so the vehicle will likely continue with the V8 5.0-liter delivering 435 bhp (324 kW) and 400 lb-ft (541 Nm) of torque.

Ford promises to release more information about this retro-flavored Mustang GT tomorrow on May 11 so stay tuned for additional details.
