Chevrolet's PR team has revealed some new details about the 2016 Camaro.

Speaking to Edmunds, Chevrolet spokesman Monte Doran confirmed the convertible will be absent when the redesigned coupe is unveiled in Detroit on May 16th.

While the convertible will be a no-show, Camaro marketing manager Todd Christensen said we can expect an assortment of styling and performance accessories.  He declined to go into specifics but stated "You've got to treat accessorization as a full-scale strategy and not an after-thought. They have to be well integrated when the car debuts."
