You will need a magnifying glass to detect the styling changes as the mid-cycle refresh only brings some very minor cosmetic tweaks to the bumpers and lighting clusters which benefit from LED technology. This appears to be a new color for the 3-Series and chances are it's the Mediterranean Blue Metallic hue sourced from the 2-Series Active Tourer.

Stepping inside the cabin, it appears to be identical compared to the current model, but there are some minor changes such as the new climate control surround, chrome accents on the doors and side vent surrounds.

A more important change is the introduction of a 340i version (pictured) which is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-6 turbo developing 326 PS (240 kW). The new model will act as a replacement for the 335i which has 306 PS (225 kW).
