Renault has released a second teaser video recorded at Copa de las Marcas Petrobras for the Sandero RS set to be sold exclusively in Latin America.

The budget hot supermini is destined to use the Renault badge so Europeans won't be getting a Dacia Sandero RS anytime soon, possibly because the company considers it would clash with the Clio GT. Based on what we see in this latest teaser video, the higher specification hatchback will look a little bit more aggressive than the standard version thanks to beefier bumpers, larger black alloys (with Continental tires) and a roof-mounted spoiler.

It's also getting a sportier suspension setup, horizontal LED strips of daytime running lights, different graphics for the headlight and taillight clusters, rear disc brakes and black mirror caps. Brazilian media acquired some spy shots of the interior showing some sportier seats, red contrast stitching, white center dial in the instrument cluster and a six-speed manual transmission.

The identity of the engine is not known at this point, but many reports indicate Renault will install the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine from the Duster commercialized in Brazil. The engine's output remains a mystery for the moment but in the SUV it churns 143 bhp (107 kW) when running on gasoline.

A full reveal should occur in the following days so stay tuned for details.
