A Ferrari F430 spontaneously combusted a few days ago in Hong Kong, but luckily nobody was injured.

The Maranello-based marque has a worryingly long history of fiery incidents and now another one has been recorded on Jordan Road in Hong Kong where all of the sudden a F430 caught fire. It happened near an intersection at a stop light and the driver managed to exit the car in time so he was not injured at all by the devastating flames.

The owner's name is Joe Chan Kwok-chu and apparently he had his fair share of adrenaline-packed moments as aside from this incident he was a victim of a hijacking event which occurred back in 2010. He was inside a tourist bus somewhere in Manila, Philippines when the vehicle was hijacked and eight people were murdered. He was lucky enough to escape only with broken wrists and he later on testified in court against the killer.
