Volvo just unveiled the XC90 Excellence but it looks like it will be joined by an even more luxurious variant at the Shanghai Motor Show.

Details are limited but the automaker released a teaser video that confirms the company will unveil a unique XC90 next week.  Little is known about the model but Volvo's senior vice president of design, Thomas Ingenlath, says the front passenger seat will be removed and replaced by a "lounge console" that promises to take "luxury to a brand new level."

That's pretty vague but the company says the idea is "radical" and will help to deliver a "higher level of progressive, modern luxury."
