General Motors and PSA Peugeot Citroën have announced their jointly developed small light commercial vehicle will be launched in 2018.

Details are limited but the model will spawn the replacements for the Citroën Berlingo, Peugeot Partner and Opel/Vauxhall Combo.  They will ride on PSA's light commercial vehicle platform and be built at a PSA plant in Vigo, Spain.

The companies went on to say the vans will be "differentiated and consistent with their respective brand appearance."

As a refresher, this will be the third and final jointly-developed model from the ill-fated alliance between GM and PSA Peugeot Citroën.  The other projects include a B-segment multi-purpose vehicle that will be built at a GM plant in Zaragoza, Spain and a C-segment crossover that will be produced at a PSA plant in Sochaux, France.
