Barrett-Jackson has announced plans to auction off the first Cadillac CT6 at their Palm Beach collector car auction on April 17th.

There's no word on how the first production model will be equipped but the CT6 features an upscale interior with leather upholstery, metallic accents and exotic wood or carbon fiber trim.  The car also has a wireless smartphone charger, a center console mounted touchpad controller and OnStar 4G LTE with a Wi-Fi hotspot.  Other notable highlights include a Quadzone climate system, a 34-speaker Bose Panaray premium audio system and an Articulating Rear Seat package which adds power rear seats with heating, cooling and massage functions.

Under the hood, three different engines will available including a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with approximately 265 bhp (198 kW), a naturally-aspirated 3.6-liter V6 with approximately 335 bhp (250 kW) and a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 that develops about 400 bhp (298 kW) and 400 lb-ft (543 Nm) of torque.  They will be connected to eight-speed automatic transmissions which can be paired to an all-wheel drive system.

The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Karmanos Cancer Institute which is dedicated to the prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.
