Vauxhall has announced the 2015 Corsa VXR will be priced from £17,995 (OTR) when it goes on sale in the United Kingdom next month.

Originally unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the Corsa VXR features an aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes and aluminum accents.  The model also has bi-xenon headlights, extended side skirts and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.  Other notable highlights include a Remus dual exhaust system and a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser.

If that's not sporty enough, the £150 VXR Carbon Pack adds faux carbon fiber mirror caps and a revised grille.

The sporty styling continues in the cabin as drivers will find Recaro seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel and alloy pedals.  The car also has revised instrumentation, a VXR-branded shifter and an Intellilink infotainment system.  The model also boasts air conditioning, cruise control, a heated front windscreen and special door sill plates.

Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 205 PS (150 kW) and up to 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque with overboost.  It is connected to a short-throw six-speed manual transmission which enables the hatchback to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).

Speaking of performance, customers can order a VXR Performance Pack which costs £2,400 and adds Brembo brakes, a limited slip differential and a retuned Koni FSD system.
