British media is reporting the Ford Kuga and Galaxy could receive a high-end Vignale trim sometime next year.

Speaking to Auto Express during the Ford C-MAX's launch, the company's UK marketing director Anthony Ireson said additional models could be pampered with the Vignale treatment if sales of the Mondeo Vignale and S-MAX Vignale will be good. According to a Ford insider, the next models in line to receive a high-end version are the Kuga and Galaxy and are expected to come out in 2016 if everything goes according to plan.

Until then, Ford will inaugurate the Vignale version later this year with an upscale derivative of the Mondeo which was previewed way back in September 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show by a near-production concept. The Blue Oval company also provided a sneak preview of the S-MAX Vignale through a namesake concept while the production version will come out shortly after the range-topping Mondeo.

According to the same source cited by AE, there aren't any plans to offer a posh Vignale version of the Fiesta and Focus.
