Our spies have sent us a fresh batch of images with the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet, this time caught testing in AMG Line guise.

It was only yesterday when we published several pics with the 2016 C-Class Coupe and now time has come to have a look at its soft top sibling which is believed will be cheaper than the SLK facelift (SLC). The prototype spotted here seems to be wearing the AMG Line body with bigger front air intakes and beefy alloy wheels. Judging by the exhaust tips, this is a lesser model positioned underneath the C450 AMG Sport which has twin trapezoidal exhaust tips.

Mercedes-Benz's AIRSCARF (neck-level heating) and AIRCAP (air deflector) systems will be offered for the C-Class Cabriolet while the engine lineup is going to be sourced from the other models of the W205 generation. Needless to say, there's going to be a BMW M4 Convertible-rivaling Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet with a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter pushing out 476 HP & 650 Nm and 510 HP & 700 Nm in S guise.

The C-Class Coupe will be out later this year which means the Cabriolet is going to be introduced in the first half of 2016.
