California-based Rezvani Motors has sent us a teaser image with their 2016 Beast production version.

The model was previewed a year ago when we learned it will be based on the Ariel Atom and it has been designed by Samir Sadikhov, the man who also styled the Aston Martin DBC as well as the Ferrari Xerzi concepts. Rezvani Motors plans to offer two versions of the Beast, one with a 2.0-liter turbo and another one with a beefier 2.4-liter supercharged motor.

Tipping the scales at 1,470 lbs (666 kg), the first one is called "Beast 300" and will provide 315 bhp (235 kW) which will be enough for a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in 2.9 seconds. The more powerful model is known as "Beast 500" and packs 500 bhp (372 kW) in a 1,550 lbs (703 kg) body and will be able to run the sprint in just 2.7 seconds.

The 2016 Rezvani Beast adopts a rear-wheel drive layout and is equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Both versions are getting 19-inch RS05 PUR wheels shod in 235/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear tires.

Set to be fully revealed in May, the Beast will also be available as an upgrade to Ariel Atom owners.

Note: We have attached images with the pre-production version.
