Billed as "one of the most exclusive writing tools for pen aficionados," the P‘3135 Solid Gold Limited Edition is milled out of a single piece of solid 14-/585 carat gold.

Porsche Design has taken the wraps off their new limited edition P‘3135 fountain pen.

Billed as "one of the most exclusive writing tools for pen aficionados," the P‘3135 Solid Gold Limited Edition is milled out of a single piece of solid 14-/585 carat gold.  The pen also has an 18-/750 carat gold nib which further highlights the pen's "aesthetic and elegance."

If that's not enough gold, you won't be disappointed as Porsche Design says the shaft - which hides the fountain pen mechanism - is finished in a 14-/585 carat gold coating.

Production will be limited to 11 units and each will retail for an eye-watering €25,000 ($27,193 / £18,325).
