Cadillac has quietly announced the 2016 ATS-V is faster and more powerful than originally thought.

While Cadillac estimated the twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine would produce 455 bhp (339 kW) and 445 lb-ft (603 Nm) of torque, it's now been SAE-certified at 464 bhp (346 kW) and 444 lb-ft (601 Nm) of torque.

The performance figures have also been slightly altered as Cadillac says the car accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 189 mph (304 km/h) - improvements of 0.1 seconds and 4 mph (6 km/h), respectively.

As a refresher, the ATS-V will be arriving at dealerships shortly and pricing starts at $61,460 for the sedan and $63,660 for the coupe.
