There is nothing wrong with product placement as long as it is chronologically correct but this doesn't seem to be the case for the fourth Transporter movie. Essentially a prequel, "Refueled" stars Ed Skrein who has replaced Jason Statham as "Frank Martin" but as you can see he is a lot younger which means the action takes place before the first movie.

However, Frank Martin drives around in a current generation Audi S8 which went on sale in the spring of 2012 (and facelifted in November 2013) so chronologically speaking the car of choice doesn't make sense. In addition, he seems to be doing a lot of drifting for a vehicle equipped exclusively with a quattro all-wheel drive system.

We remind you Jason Statham drove a BMW 7-Series (E38) in the first Transporter movie while for the other two sequels he used an Audi A8 W12.
