After seeing it at a gas station in Sweden, the 2015 Audi R8 V10 Plus has returned in new images from Karlsruhe, Germany.

Audi only made some subtle styling revisions to its supercar but somehow the new R8 looks quite different than its predecessor as the design has been sharpened out and is now more angular than ever. Seen here is the range-topping V10 Plus version priced from €187,400 and equipped with a 610 HP & 560 Nm 5.2-liter V10 naturally aspirated engine.

It weighs 1,454 kg (3,205 lbs) so it is 101 kg (222 lbs) lighter than the standard model and comes as standard with carbon ceramic discs (optional on R8 V10) and a fixed CFRP rear wing. It also gets larger 20-inch wheels with 245/30 front & 305/30 rear tires as opposed to the 19-inch set with 245/35 front & 295/35 rear rubbers of the standard model. It benefits from an updated 7-speed S tronic transmission which helps the supercar do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds before topping out at 205 mph (330 km/h). The regular €165,000 R8 V10 is no slouch either since it will do the sprint in 3.5 seconds en route to 200 mph (203 km/h).

Both the Audi R8 V10 and R8 V10 Plus are scheduled to go on sale this summer and will be followed shortly by the fully electric R8 e-tron.
