The fifth-gen Camaro is about to hit the 500,000 units sales milestone so Chevrolet has decided to celebrate this event through a video which also provides a quick glimpse at the next-gen model.

Chevrolet estimates they will be able to deliver the 500,000th unit of the fifth generation Camaro later this month in United States and they have released a clip displaying a Z/28 model playing around on the track. The more interesting part starts at the 0:57 mark where Chevrolet is teasing the sixth generation expected to debut as early as next month.

We took a few screenshots with the most revealing sections of the teaser to get a better look at the sixth generation Camaro which is expected to drop some serious weight and it might even get a four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine for the entry-level model.

A full reveal could occur at the beginning of April during the 2015 New York Auto Show.
