The official Fast & Furious YouTube channel has released a featurette showing the cars from the latest trailer were actually airdropped.

The cars were freefalling at 130-140 mph after being airdropped from a Lockheed C-130 Hercules flying at around 12,000 feet. The parachutes were activated once the cars reached a 5,000 feet altitude and thankfully it all ended exactly as planned.

Airing April 3, the seventh installment in the Fast and Furious franchise has what it takes to be even more spectacular than previous movies and it will also be the most special taking into account this will be the last time when we will see Paul Walker. At least three more movies are being considered if Furious 7 will be a success.
