A couple of sales directors from Koenigsegg disclosed some juicy details about the ordering process.

Andreas Petre and Tariq Ali are sales directors at Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg and they told Car Buzz a client has to wait 18 months to take delivery of the vehicle. Customers receive an e-mail on the day when the selected paint can't be changed anymore, but those who insist on getting a different shade on their high-priced automobile will have to pay an extra €60,000. Moreover, changing body paint will add an extra 3 months to the waiting period.

Andreas Petre and Tariq Ali said they were able to sell a few units of the new Regera by simply calling some potential customers and telling them there's a new model on the way, without actually providing any technical details or pictures.

We remind you that Koenigsegg unveiled two models at the Geneva Motor Show this month, the Regera limited to 80 cars and the Agera RS capped at 25 units.
