After an announcement made back in November last year, Mercedes-AMG have released a couple of design sketches with the GT3 set to premiere early next month in Geneva.

It's programmed to replace the SLS AMG GT3 and will hit the track for the 2016 season and will obviously comply with the FIA GT3 regulations. The attached design sketches show a significantly wider body with flared wheel arches, additional vents and a huge fixed rear wing providing more downforce to the rear axle.

Technical details have not been released but we will know more in less than a month as Mercedes-AMG will bring the GT3 to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Following its debut at the Swiss auto show, the GT3 will undergo an "intense testing and development period" to make sure it will be ready for the 2016 racing season.
