Chevrolet has taken the wraps off a special edition Colorado GearOn set to premiere this week at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.

The main highlight is a GearOn accessory system promising to offer an easy configuration and lots of mounting accessories for skis, bikes, kayaks as well as stand-up paddle boards to a bed-mounted tent. This special edition comes with the GearOn bars and divider packages along with the cargo tie-down rings while additional accessories are available at an extra cost and can be installed at the time of delivery.

What sets this Colorado GearOn further apart are the glossy black 18-inch alloy wheels, off-road assist steps and the EZ Lift and Lower tailgate. It also boasts a body-colored grille along with front & rear black Chevy bowtie emblems while remote start, rear window defogger and front fog lamps are also part of the package.

Chevrolet says it can be had only on the 2015 Colorado LT models in extended or crew cab configurations with the short or long cargo bed and a 4WD setup. Prices start at $31,250 and deliveries are slated to begin this spring.

The Colorado GearOn special edition will premiere on February 13 at the Chicago Auto Show.
