Taking into account it doesn't look as posh as the DS-branded products, this compact sedan will probably wear the Citroën badge and will likely slot below the C5 since it appears to be smaller. Based on these assumptions, this is probably the C4 Lounge (C4 L) in European specification but most likely it's mechanically different than the version sold in countries such as Brazil, China, Argentina and other countries from Latin America and Asia.

It likely rides on PSA's EMP2 platform just like its upcoming sister model, the Peugeot 308 Sedan, which has already been caught on camera testing. The longer overhang granted by the sedan body style will boost cargo capacity from the C4 hatchback's 408 liters to somewhere in the region of 450 liters but you won't be able to insert tall objects since the trunk's opening will be quite narrow.

Both cars could make their public debut this September at the Frankfurt Motor Show before going on sale towards the end of the year.
