Hyundai's Prius competitor has been spied wearing a production body.

Caught undergoing testing in Northern Europe, the heavily camouflaged prototype features sweptback headlights, boomerang-shaped daytime running lights and an upward sweeping beltline. We can also see a gently sloping roof and a stubby rear end.

Hyundai has been tight-lipped about specifications but the model is expected to have a hybridized 1.6-liter petrol engine, an electric motor and a small lithium-ion battery. The car is also rumored to ride on the same platform that underpins the next-generation Elantra.

Little else is known about the model but previous reports have suggested there could eventually be a plug-in hybrid variant and additional body styles in the future.
