Vauxhall has introduced a new "essential accessory" for the 2015 Corsa in the form of an optional camouflage net.

We double checked the calendar and it doesn't say April Fools' Day but nevertheless Vauxhall has launched the "Corsa Camo-net" available for both three- and five-door versions painted in Flaming Yellow, Flame Red, Chilli Orange or Lime Green colors. It was "designed specifically" for use "near National Trust premises and chocolate box Cotswold villages" and can be easily folded up into a backpack or the car’s trunk.

This is obviously a joke part of the "A to Z of Corsa" marketing campaign where the letter "D" stands for "disappear" and will be followed by other alphabetical-themed scenes to boost the new Corsa's media presence following its debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

Wishful thinking, the letter "O" will hopefully stand for "OPC" as Opel has already teased the range-topping version which will debut early next month at the Geneva Motor Show. The model - already spied without camouflage - is rumored to pack a 4-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 210 HP (154 kW).
