Opel has introduced the new Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFLEX.

Described as a "true eco-champion," the model has a 1.3-liter CDTI ecoFlex diesel engine that produces 95 PS (70 kW) and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an Easytronic 3.0 transmission that enables the car to return 3.1 L/100km (75.8 mpg US / 91.1 mpg UK) and have CO2 emissions of 82 g/km. Opel says this makes the Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFLEX the "most economical Opel presently on the market and the most economical diesel available."

Besides the eco-friendly engine, the car has been equipped with start/stop technology, a regenerative braking system and low-rolling-resistance tires.

The Corsa 1.3 CDTI ecoFLEX will go on sale in Germany in March and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
