Porsche has indirectly revealed through a video the rear end of the upcoming Cayman GT4.

It was only yesterday when Porsche and Electronic Arts provided a first glimpse of the Cayman GT4 through a teaser image from Real Racing 3 and now a WCF reader has stumbled upon something quite interesting. In a video released today about the restoration process of one of the first 911s ever made (chassis number #7), in the 0:10 – 0:13 interval you will notice a yellow Cayman with a big rear wing, indicating it's the range-topping GT4 variant.

This can only mean the Cayman GT4 is ready for an official reveal which could occur as early as March at the Geneva Motor Show. Porsche's product chief Wolfgang Hatz has already announced the model has been developed by the same team who worked on the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 RS while recent reports indicate an output of 400 bhp (298 kW) wrapped around in a lighter package compared to the current range-topping version, the Cayman GTS. Other upgrades include beefier brakes, stiffer suspension and a slightly more aggressive body.
