Our spies have sent us an additional batch of photos with the upcoming facelift for the Hyundai ix20.

The South Korean mini MPV is about to receive a subtle nip and tuck suitable for the model's mid-cycle refresh which will bring lightly updated front and rear bumpers, a tweaked hexagonal front grille and slightly modified headlight & taillight graphics. In one of the attached images you will notice the interior wears some disguise which means Hyundai is cooking up some updates for the interior as well but likely nothing to write home about.

The facelifted ix20 will probably come with the same array of engines consisting of 89 bhp 1.4 and 123 bhp 1.6 gasoline units and 89 bhp 1.4 and 115 bhp 1.6 diesels which depending on selection can be had with manual and automatic gearboxes. These engines could receive some updates to lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while a modest bump in power could also occur.

Hyundai will introduce the ix20 facelift later this year and it will shortly be followed by sister model Kia Venga.
