The 2016 Mercedes C-Class Coupe has been spied for the first time.
Looking more luxurious than its predecessor, the redesigned model has a sporty front fascia with a single bar grille, large air intakes and sweptback headlights. Moving further back, we can see a rakish windscreen, door-mounted mirrors and a gently sloping roofline.
The rear end is heavily camouflaged but it appears to mimic the S-Class Coupe. As a result, there are slender taillights and an angled trunk with an integrated spoiler.
The cabin carries over from the standard model and features a three-spoke steering wheel, a free-standing infotainment system and numerous metallic accents.
Engine options will carryover from the sedan so expect a variety of familiar petrol and diesel options including a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 241 bhp (179 kW) and a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 329 bhp (245 kW). There should also be a C63 AMG Coupe with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 470 bhp (350 kW) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque.
