A BMW M4 Coupe driver was involved in a minor incident yesterday in California after excessively pressing the gas pedal.

At a first glance it might look like the M4 driver was trying to show off in front of the crowd gathered at the Cars & Coffee event in Blackhawk, CA but in reality it's all due to a mistake. As the driver explains on Bimmer Post, he pushed the car too  hard in a straight line and then the "rear snapped violently."

Needless to say, the dynamic stability control (DSC) system was off and the owner admits it was a driver error but he also takes into consideration the low temperature of the tires which he says were inflated at the wrong psi.

The good news is there weren't any other cars around and the BMW M4 painted in Sakhir Orange escaped with probably some minor damages.
