The Porsche 911 facelift has been rendered by Theophilus Chin with the 918 Spyder in mind
This virtual project looks quite promising, featuring large air intakes in the front bumper, tinted headlights with modified graphics and a diffusor mounted at the lower part of the bumper. The side mirrors also appear to be restyled.
From what we know about the 911 facelift so far, the vehicle will be launched in the fall of 2015 with a series of turbocharged engines. It is believed Porsche will reduce the displacement of the Carrera’s flat-six engine from 3.4 to 2.9 liters with power going up to around 400 bhp (298 kW) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm).
The Carrera S is expected to develop no less than 530 bhp (395 kW) and 520 lb-ft (704 Nm) of torque, while the 911 Turbo / Turbo S will likely boost at least 600 bhp (447 kW). The only naturally aspirated model across the range will be the GT3 which will become significantly lighter.
