A rare Porsche 930 Slantnose was spotted collecting dust (and rust) in a parking lot near Pittsburgh.

Porsche built only 948 units of the 930 Slantnose (Flachbau) in the early 80s and each car was handcrafted as the front fenders had to be remodeled. These were way more expensive than the regular 930 as the 935-style slantnose and the other tweaks commanded a premium of up to 60 percent compared to the standard car.

Porsche fans will notice it has regular headlights rather than the pop-up lights so the car might not be all original, especially taking into account the abandoned car doesn't seem to have the louvers on the front fenders.

Regardless if this is a real Slantnose or a regular 930 with an aftermarket body, it's still a Porsche and it shouldn't be abandoned. According to the author of this photo, all four tires are completely flat and the car is starting to show signs of rust on the underside of the body.
