Ford has announced plans to offer a factory tuning program for the Mustang EcoBoost.

The company was coy on specifics but confirmed Ford Racing is developing custom engine calibrations for models equipped with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that develops 310 bhp (231 kW) and 320 lb-ft (433 Nm) of torque. The resulting product will be available by the end of next year.

In related news, Ford highlighted their ProCal programmer for the Fiesta ST and Focus ST. It costs $595 and enables owners to modify everything from fuel curves to the throttle response. More importantly, Focus ST owners can gain up to 90 lb-ft (122 Nm) of torque without voiding the car's warranty.
