Alfa Romeo has introduced the Giulietta Business Edition in United Kingdom.
Tailored to the business sector, the special Giulietta is based on the facelifted model which came out a year ago and adds more than £2,000 worth of extra equipment compared to the mid-range Distinctive trim level which was used as the basis but the buyer pays less for the extra kit.
While the Giulietta Distinctive gets 16-inch wheels, dual zone climate control, rear parking sensors, cruise control and DAB & Bluetooth, the Business Edition adds a 6.5-inch Uconnect infotainment system, light & rain sensors, front parking sensors, electric front seats, power folding mirrors and auto-dimming rear view mirror.
Those willing to pay more can go for the £2,500 premium pack which includes bi-xenon headlights, Bose sound system and an electric double sunroof. For an extra £210 the Giulietta can get dark tinted windows while 18-inch alloy wheels in various designs are priced at £650 and can be matched with £500 Brembo brake calipers.
Prices start at £18,990 for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Business Edition powered by a 105 bhp 1.6-liter JTDM-2 turbodiesel engine but customers can also get a beefier 150 bhp 2.0-liter JTDM-2 engine from £20,290, with both engines being mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Up next is the 170 bhp 1.4-liter turbo gasoline engine from £20,810 followed by the range-topping 175 bhp 2.0 JTDM-2 at £22,450. These two more expensive versions come equipped with a six-speed Alfa TCT twin dry-clutch transmission.
