BBC has released a video trailer for the upcoming Top Gear Patagonia Special set to air on Christmas.

Top Gear's controversial Patagonia special will be about a 1,600-mile journey with a Porsche 928, Lotus Esprit and Ford Mustang that will culminate with a car football game against Argentina.

We remind you there have been quite a few controversies after Jeremy Clarkson's Porsche 928 was spotted featuring "H982 FKL" license plates as a reference to 1982 when Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands but they had to surrender after the British replied.

The Top Gear crew left the country following the scandal and they were also accused of wanting to burn the cars to make their exit more dramatic, but Clarkson denied such plans a few days ago.

Top Gear Patagonia Special part one is going to air at 8:30 PM on December 27 on BBC Two / BBC Two HD while part two will be out on December 28 at 8:00 PM.
